Joining the Scarborough Charter Inter-Institutional Forum

The 2021 Scarborough Charter on Anti-Black Racism and Black Inclusion in Canadian Higher Education is the first-of-its-kind partnership in Canada. Signing on to the Charter represents more than mere recognition of systemic anti-Black racism but a desire to advance Black inclusion in Canadian higher education. It constitutes a commitment by signatories to ensure Black students, faculty, and staff will thrive, flourish, and succeed in their institutions and communities through targeted policies, programs, engagement, support and accountability measures.
